Trimdin Reversible Travel Jacket Review

November 21, 2016 by Rebecca Forstadt-Olkowski 10 Comments

Don’t you love a great jacket?  I do, especially if it’s made beautifully and has a ton of style. But, what’s even better is when it’s reversible because it can be worn with different color schemes and is perfect when you travel. I tried a reversible travel jacket by Trimdin and it was just what I was looking for.

My love of fine craftsmanship comes from my mother who was a meticulous dressmaker.  Knowing the detail she put into each item she made, has made it hard for me to accept the shoddy work I’ve seen in manufactured clothes. However, I was impressed when my Trimdin reversible jacket arrived in the mail. The fabric design on both sides is chic and unique, but the way it was made had me sold.

I’m showing it off in the photos on this page at the Rosenthal Estate Vineyards when I went there to attend a member social. In the photo above I wore it teal side up over black pants and a black shell top.

A couple of glasses of wine later,  I turned the jacket inside out to the purple side, which has vertical lines and has a slimming vertical design. Trimdin’s reversible travel jacket sleeves can be rolled up a bit to reveal the contrasting colors from the reverse side. That gives it even more pizzaz.

If you love to travel as much as I do, packing a reversible travel jacket is a smart move, especially if you want to travel light. Wear one side one day and the other the next. Trimdin’s reversible travel jackets are made in the USA by artisans and come in either short or mid-length designs. The durable fabric will last for years and the gorgeous color combinations are sure to make you stand out in a crowd.

Sizes come in XS, S, M, L, XL, and 1X. I found my XL to be roomy and comfortable. Styles include Classic Fall, Mid-length, Classic Spring, Ruffle, and Peplum with a variety of fabrics to choose from with each. You can also order artisanal buttons to complement your reversible travel jacket. Prices range from $169 – $209 and I believe that’s well worth it.

The Trimdin reversible travel jacket line is limited but offers a variety of unique color options.

Rebecca – I’m right there with you on the tummy issue. And a reversible jacket – what a great idea! Especially for travel. You look very nice!

I have never owned a reversible but I’m mega curious about them. It looks great, though, on you!
