I was gifted samples of NeoStrata Skin Care and I’m sorry to say I took my time trying it out. It is a high-end skincare brand developed by dermatologists and touted by many skincare experts. What is unique about it is that it has a patented alpha hydroxy acid technology that is effective and pleasant to use.
My set came with Tri-Therapy Lifting Serum, Triple Firming Neck Cream, Retinol Repair Complex, and Firming Dermal Replenishment Cream.
The serum lives up to its price
I tend to keep things simple with my skincare routine. The product I highly recommend and use regularly is the serum.
I receive many gifted skincare products as a blogger, including serums, but so far, NeoStrata is my favorite. It sells for $100, but in my opinion, it’s worth the price. If you can invest in great skincare, an excellent serum is the most important step to spend money on.
NeoStrata Tri-Therapy Lifting Serum with MicroDiPeptide²²⁹® is not sticky, is fragrance-free, and makes my skin feel luxuriously smooth and silky.
The product contains Gluconolactone, an acid that gently exfoliates your face but doesn’t make it sun-sensitive. If you have sensitive skin, you will have no problem with it.
Another ingredient is aminofil. This aids in building volume and helps to plump and firm the skin. It will reduce the appearance of scowl lines, furrows, crow’s feet, and smile lines.
Most serums contain Hyaluronic Acid, but NeoStrata’s is LMW (Low Molecular Weight) Hyaluronic Acid. It is designed to penetrate the skin’s surface more effectively than traditional, larger-molecule hyaluronic acid. It will hydrate your skin, even out skin tone, smooth the skin’s texture, and tighten it.
A consumer study was done. After 12 weeks of twice-daily use (day and night), participants had the following results:
- 97% had visibly plumper and more volumized skin.
- 92% had more even skin tone.
- 92% had diminished visible wrinkles.
After 12 weeks of twice-daily use based on clinical grading (percentage of participants with clinical improvement), the results were:
- 97% had a reduced appearance of fine lines.
- 90% had increased skin brightness and improved clarity.
- 79% had improvement in the look of wrinkles.
My take with a practical perspective
I believe the serum is well worth its price, and I highly recommend it. The other products are excellent but also expensive. If you are on a budget, you can do just as well with more affordable products.
If you have the funds to spend on your skincare routine, NeoStrata is an outstanding brand.
