LaDuora Duo Hair Care Device Review | To Prevent Hair Loss and Build Volume

by Rebecca Forstadt-Olkowski 2 Comments

Would you like to unlock the secret to having stronger and healthier hair? As women get older, their hair becomes dull, lifeless, and dry. At least mine does. I had the opportunity to try out the LaDuora Duo Premium Scalp and Hair Care Device.

Watch my video demo!

Click on the player below.

It’s a compact and portable device combining the latest hair care treatments – LED red light therapy, microcurrent stimulation, warming scalp massage, and smart elixir pod delivery all in one to promote smoother, healthier, and fuller-looking hair.

The DUO pod is packed with proven ingredients and delivers potent and active ingredients deep into the scalp to target your individual hair care needs. The liquid is made in the U.S., 100% silicone-free, sulfate-free, vegan, and cruelty-free.

How does the LaDuora Duo Hair Care Device work?

Always read the instructions first. The device comes with a charging cable, so make sure it’s charged up before using it. Insert a Duo Pod into the device, but remember to take off the plastic caps so the liquid can be delivered to your hair. I forgot to do that at first, and it didn’t work. LOL!

It is recommended that you shampoo your hair before using the LaDuora Duo device. The treatment can be done with dry or damp hair.

Press the power button for 3 seconds until the device begins to vibrate. It also gives off targeted heat to increase the blood flow to your scalp, hair follicles, and shaft. Place the device on your scalp so that all the teeth are touching it, and move it from the front of your scalp to the back.

Reverse the direction and take it from side to side. If you have long hair, move the device to the ends so your whole head gets the benefits.

Once the Duo Pod is depleted simply press the button on the back of your hair care device to pop it out and replace it with a new one. I’ve found it lasts for a long time.

Beware of certain restrictions

Because of the way the LaDuora hair care device works, it is not recommended if you have medical conditions such as epilepsy, seizures, or recent hair surgery. You should also avoid using it if you have certain heart conditions.

What problems does it solve?

The Duo method treats your scalp to promote smoother, healthier, and fuller-looking hair. It’s is helpful if you have thinning hair that may be caused by hormone imbalance, stress, nutrition deficiency, aging, and environmental effects.

My impression

I found the device easy to use, and I enjoyed the massager on my head. I wasn’t sure I would at first.  After I was done using it, my hair felt much softer. Because I dye my hair, it takes a lot of abuse, and I can always use extra help. I have reviewed other red light therapy beauty devices before. You have to have the time and patience to get results, but they do make a difference.

LaDuora is a sketchy company. Six months after purchasing their red light wand, it stopped holding a charge. When I wrote to get a replacement since it is under warranty, I was told to purchase a new charging port from LaDuora. I was told the proprietary charging port was not covered under warranty. So, if you order one of these and it stops working, he won’t even take it back and examine it. He simply will deny any warranty claim out of hand. Shady. There are so many other options, I’m sorry I gave him a chance.

Thanks, for letting me know about this. I hadn’t heard about any negative reviews before now but I will look into this. So sorry you had to go through that.
