I was given a cooling comforter to try from a brand called Elegear. It incorporates Japanese Arc-Chill technology to use your body heat to cool you off.
If you are a woman over 50 who experiences hot flashes, this is a blanket you may want to consider. However, I know some men who sleep warm so they will enjoy it too.

I have a double bed and my cooling comforter arrived true to size. There are several colors available, and I chose “Lake Blue.” It’s a pretty tone that has light turquoise overtones.
The comforter is made from 100% polyester but is super soft and light. It’s a perfect weight for the warmer months. It has an unusual stitching design with ergonomic curves and piping on the edges. I believe it’s well made and after sleeping with it for a while I like how cozy it feels.
You can wash it in a washing machine, and because it’s not too heavy it won’t clog it up the machine. The company does not recommend that you not dry it in a dryer. Instead, hang it up in the shade and it will dry fast.
So far, I have felt comfortable and not sweaty in bed using my cooling comforter. However, that will all depend on how hot a post-menopausal woman or clammy man you are. But it’s worth a try and is quite affordable.
Possible Cons
The Elegear cooling comforter is made from polyester but feels a bit like nylon. If you have a cat or dog sleeping on your bed, there could be a chance that its nails could catch on it. I am not sleeping with any animals right now but I thought I would mention it.
