Thanksgiving is over. I hope you had an amazing one!
My daughter had a baby on Halloween, so I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for her and her husband. I forgot how hard it was to prepare an entire holiday meal because I have either been to someone else’s house or we did a potluck in recent years.
It all came out fantastic though and I had plenty of baby and doggie time. I’ve been tagged as the nanny when my daughter returns to work. Now I just need to keep standing. LOL
In the meantime, please visit my Amazon Storefront. I have plenty of gift ideas and product reviews there.
Our Baby Boomer bloggers are getting ready for the holidays as well. It’s a joyous but also a stressful time for some. Let’s see what they’re writing about.
Rita R. Robison
The recent surge in consumer financial distress is likely to continue into 2025, says Rita R. Robison, consumer and personal finance journalist. Robison has a suggestion for consumer credit counseling for those who have debts and are feeling overwhelmed.
Carol Cassara
Is making a mistake always a bad thing? Not according to Carol Cassara in this week’s blog post, “Surprising Benefits from Life’s Drama and Mistakes.“
Laurie Stone
Sometimes we work hard, but don’t receive the outcome we want. Other times we toil and are rewarded in wonderful ways. This happened to Laurie’s son Paul when they both went into Manhattan recently. There they dined in the world-famous restaurant, La Bernardin.
Meryl Baer
Feasting season has arrived, and Meryl Baer of Musings of a Shore Life indulges her love of good food. In this week’s post, The Humble Potato Shines on my Plate, she discusses one of her favorite foods.
Help to support our Baby Boomer Bloggers by sharing and commenting on their posts. We all appreciate it.
