Do you wear pajamas at night, or are you a fan of nightgowns? As women over 50, we may not be wearing baby dolls anymore (or maybe you still do), but it’s nice to have something comfy and soft to help you get your Zzzzs.
Some women have special needs when it comes to sleepwear. If you tend to overheat at night, you may prefer to wear garments made with a moisture-wicking material that will keep you cool and dry. If you get cold easily, you may want thermal sleepwear.
I love Jersey jammies because they’re so comfy. Silk pajamas are nice too, because they are elegant and sophisticated. It’s also nice to have pajamas or a nightgown that you can walk around in when company is over, unless you’re a nudist.
Below are some of my favorite picks for sleepwear
My favorite pajamas
I found this jersey pajama set at Nordstrom Rack. Watch my video below.
100% Cotton
I wanted short pajamas for warm weather and found a cute set on Amazon made of 100% cotton. It comes in various patterns and colors and is very comfy!
Pure Silk
Lilysilk pajamas are made of silk Charmeuse using a weaving technique to create a smooth, pearl-like luster on one side of the fabric, and a matte finish on the other. The set is pure luxury.
Cotton Blend
This is a cotton-blend nightgown set of 2 that I bought from Kabento on Amazon. You can choose from several colors and patterns.

PJs for hot or menopausal women
Do you sweat like a swimming pool at night because of hormones out of control? You will love PJs from Lusomé made with XIROTEX™ for moisture management, recommended by Oprah and Good Housekeeping.
A cozy robe
This lush Turquaz Microfiber Robe is terry-lined and perfect for “spa days” or lounging around the pool. It is available on Amazon.
