Heat the oil in a Dutch Oven over medium heat. Saute the chopped onion, garlic, red pepper until onions are translucent.
Add in the ground turkey and cook it until it is no longer pink.
Add the chili lime blend (or chili powder and squeezed lime), cumin, Italian seasoning, cayenne pepper and salt. Stir until blended.
Take 1 cup of the beans and smash them a little. This makes the broth thicker.
Add the tomatoes, chicken broth, all the beans, and corn. Bring the chili to a boil and them simmer for 45 minutes to an hour.
Add salt and other seasonings to taste.
You can garnish the chili with shredded cheese, avocado, sour cream, nachos, Tabasco, or anything you like in chili. Or, serve it simply with toasted bread.
