Adjustable LED Reading Lamp by BenQ: Review

May 16, 2020 by Rebecca Forstadt-Olkowski 2 Comments

When someone from BenQ asked me to take a look at one of their e-reading desk lamps, I was happy to give it a try because we all need good light when we read or work.

I was having lighting issues myself so when my BenQ e-Reading Desk Lamp arrived, I was excited, because I could finally see when I was reading and because it’s LED, you never break a sweat while sitting under the light.

What makes the lamp so special?

It has an LED panel that’s placed in a long-curved strip. They call it Smile Curve Technology and it gives you 150% wider lighting coverage than an average desk lamp. You can also easily switch between warm and cool temperatures, by turning a knob on top. The built-in technology adjusts the brightness to ambient light so it protects your eyes and keeps them from drying out.

At the end of the strip is a ball mount that lets you angle the lamp and position it. The stand can be adjusted up or down for the height. To turn it on, all you do is touch a metal ring at the end of the lamp.

You can purchase a BenQ e-reading lamp in Silver, Blue, Gold, Green, and Red. I chose blue.

It’s especially good for reading on your computer or other electronics. You can set it on a table and angle it over your bed or chair. And you don’t have to worry about knocking it over because it has a sturdy weighted bottom.

I love the way my reading lamp eliminates excess glare because it’s easy to get eye strain as we get older.

Because it’s an LED lamp, it is also energy-efficient and safe to use.

If you’d like to read more about the BenQ e-Reading desk lamp or purchase one for yourself, check out their website here.  You can also purchase one of their lamps on Amazon here.
